How the games are grouped
Each replay is matched against a table of named openings, move for move from the starting position, and filed under the longest line it follows. Lines belong to a family, so a Najdorf and an Alapin both appear under the Sicilian Defense. Every family page explains the main ideas of the opening and lists its games newest first, with the exact variation and its ECO code on every card.
